  10-15-2017 I purchased a new refrigerator from the Christy’s on La Cholla Blvd in Tucson. I had done my research and KNEW what I wanted. I went in on a Sunday and Douglas Sizer met with me. He started off with a sales pitch and I didn’t want that. We talked and I sometimes listened. (I was actually going to go to Home Depot down the road). I reluctantly listened and then it finally hit me that he was actually offering me a viewpoint based on knowledge and experience. So, I settled in and instead of being resistant, (remember I KNEW), I was now hearing information I obviously didn’t get on the Internet. Ha. A piece I thought I knew was I wanted white to match my other 3 appliances in the kitchen. I was so glad Doug “persuaded” me to buy Stainless Steel. He did some negotiations with me and I purchased the refrigerator. Now the delivery day came and two guys showed up with my new appliance. After they measured the openings of the gate and front door, it was apparent to these guys that the unit I bought wouldn’t fit thru the gate (house built in 1994 and they explained to me the way the metal gate was installed it could not be removed from the hinges. I was willing to take a sledge hammer to it. They were indeed not removable. Carlos Santos and Brad Pugmire discussed the problem and brainstormed. Carlos called Christy’s. In the meantime, I’m looking for a sledgehammer to take out that darn gate (I needed that fridge after being without one for 7 days). Not their fault for the 7 days, could have had it Friday but I chose the delivery for Saturday. Carlos and Brad said they would get this fridge in for me. They proceeded to dismantle the doors, hinges, hardware and bringing in my new refrigerator piece by piece. I am one satisfied customer. These guys were so great. They did not make excuses, they assessed the situation and made this happen for me. Thank God for strong, understanding, problem solving men. Thank you Christy’s, Douglas, Brad and Carlos - (takes a Village). I have 3 white appliances that will be replaced when they gasp their last breath: so, Douglas Sizer, I will be back, without Internet research and will leave my resistance at the door.
